With over 17 combined years of living in Cordova, Alaska, owners Adra and Juro intimately understand exactly how to source the best quality wild seafood. Juro ran a seafood processing plant while Adra learned from the locals the meanings of community, harmony, discord with nature, and living off of the land.

Wild Alaskan fish are seasonal, meaning they are not available all year long. During the fishing season, mostly in the summer, Alaska Fresh Seafood builds a stock of perfectly cut, individual flash-frozen portions and sell them year round at your convenience. When supplies run out, we switch to our pre-order option, which enables you to not only reserve your stock of wild fish but also secure discounted pricing.

Each fish is hand-picked from the net, long line or pot, hand-bled and immediately placed on ice on the fishing vessel. It is then transported to the processor on shore where it is fully cleaned, filleted, deboned, portioned, vacuum packed and flash frozen. This process seals all the nutrients in the fish and create the perfect product, that will taste unbelievably fresh for months.

In order to get you the best quality product, we are partnered with an elite Alaskan fish processor - Copper River Seafoods. Not only they have all the technologies, certifications and the incredible care for fish to make sure your product is flawless, but this is also the company where Juro worked for 13 years.

We guarantee that our frozen fish maintains all of its qualities for at least two years, as long as the packaging stays intact. There is a myth that never frozen fish is best but unless you live in the Pacific Northwest, you do not want to eat anything but frozen from Alaska. In the amount of time that it takes to transport fish from Alaska to most locations in the continental United States, the fish loses is freshness, flavor, meat integrity and nutrients. When it comes to eating wild Alaska year-round, it must be flash-frozen.

The process of flash-freezing has evolved over the years and if you truly want the freshest fish and don't live on the coast, flash-frozen vacuum packed fillets are the only way to go!
